Common Rights was commissioned by labor advocates to examine what constitutes exploitation under the UK Modern Slavery Act. In particular, Common Rights examined the situation of workers not provided relevant information about their actual and potential exposure to toxic substances at work as a form of exploitation.

Common Rights worked with an anonymous donor to develop their new grant-making framework on environmental health and justice to respond to new political realities in the United States and Europe.

Common Rights provided expert analysis of law and policy options for the development of a stronger global framework on toxic chemicals and wastes, to advance a safe circular economy.

Common Rights has helped various organizations link the implications of childhood exposure to toxic chemicals and pollution to the Convention on the Rights of the Child. We have helped not-for-profit organizations around the world in using Child Rights law to advance environmental protection.
